MY HAIR STORY // 4 YEARS NATURAL

BIG CHOP May 2013 1 YEAR NATURAL 2 YEARS NATURAL 4 YEARS NATURAL   As you can see my hair length at 2 years and 4 years is the same. The reason is simple- I stopped doing the work. Period! I stopped prepooing and finger detangling and doing every other nice thing that helped me get to where I was in my 2nd year of being natural. The things I did do, like deep conditioning, I didn't do consistently. In between that time and now I have had about 3 mini big chops due to damaged ends. I have decided to turn a new leaf  because I so over this length lol. I have to move on to bigger( and by that I mean longer) things so with that in mind I am revamping my regimen and making it more practical. I am also doing a 3-month  growth challenge wh...

Now to the post for today: Buying hair products without regret. I remember how hard it was to choose hair products when I newly bigchopped. Buying different hair products that somehow ended up in a pile I call the Rejects.  I still cringe when I think of how much money I wasted back then. Since that time I have grown. Now I understand that buying products is an art. You can't just buy any product you see and hope for the best. Here are 5 tips to help you up your hair product buying game (-; READ REVIEWS I cannot stress this enough. Always read at least 5 reviews of a product before you buy it. How to do it? Simple. TEMPORARY HAIR COLOUR = GREY

Hi guys,    I would really love to colour my hair. I think about it all the time especially when I'm on Instagram. The only reason I haven't had a dye job is because of fear. Walahi I don't want anything to happen to my precious curls by mistake. I was so glad to find this super cheap temporary hairspray at Blenco the other day. It doesnt look like much but its a really cool spray. I didn't know how the silver would come out but I must say I love how it looks. I think its a steal for N350. I must warn you though about the smell. It is terrible. I always spray my hair outside so that the air will diffuse the pungent chemicals in the spray.  6 shades of gray All you have to do to get is out is a quick rinse. Thanks for stopping by, K im B
