LOST BUT FOUND AND A MINI TOOL HAUL

Hi Guys,
     I am really sorry I have been away so long. I have been working on a project that leaves me extremely exhausted/drained/fatigued at the end of each day so blogging has not been on my to-do list for a while. I am back now and hopefully I wont be gone for long again.
  All has been well with my hair although I have been neglecting it badly. I am in desperate need of a trim but I have been too busy to do it myself and the thought of someone else doing it gives me nightmares. I don't want to end up with a mini big chop after all my hard work and prayers lol. I have also abandoned hot oil treatments, prepooing and weekly deep conditioning...hmmm I smell a mane revolt coming up soon.
  In other news,I got my sister in Texas to get me 3 hair tools I have been dying to have. Here they are in order of happifyingness (loooool):


Wig Clips ;-)

 

I haven't installed a weave in a looong time. I shudder at the thought of a giant needle poking holes in my fragile fro so I shunned weaves for wigs and I have been enjoying them so far. But sometimes I see a really cool weave and be like ''I wish I could get that on my head without all stress and breakage". Well these clips make installing a weave super simple, fast and needle free. I can't wait to show you how I use them.


Latch hook crochet pin


 I absolutely adore crochet braids. Since I learnt how to do them I have been using a bobby pin for installation. But with these hooks, crochet-life's about to get real ;-) These hooks make it a whole lot easier and faster to install silkier textures of extensions  unlike the bobby pin which I could only use with  Marley braiding hair.

 I fell in love with this comb after watching India of Mynaturalsistas (my favourite vloggers in the world) talk about it in her favourite products video. It is used to pick out fros and to lift up roots to give a fuller look to natural protective styles. Say a loud yay for a big a$$ fro coming your way soon!

Bobby pins   

She threw in these regular bobby pins and I really appreciate them because the ones I buy here have a way of getting rusted. Don't ask me how...
 


Ouchless bands

As a sign of repentance I got these black hairbands form Mr Price Surulere for N500. I can finally give rubber bands a rest :-)
 
 That's it for my comeback post. I have some product reviews to do and a hair update(?) but I think I'll just stick with the reviews because my hair might disgrace me after all the weeks of neglect I blessed it with.
