Revising my Regimen

Hi guys,
One of the most important things a healthy hair craver should have is a regimen. A healthy hair regimen is a sort of systematic plan  designed to improve and maintain the condition of the hair over time. For most hair types this should involve conditioning, deep conditioning, moisturising, sealing, protein treatments etc. In one of my earliest Posts I outlined my regimen at the time and as you may have noticed there was a lot of spritzing and sealing and Co-washing. It seems to me now that I spent alot of my time caring for my hair. I didn't mind all the work but as the condition of my hair improved and I got quality hair products it became necessary to change my regimen.

Changes
First of all my products changed. I started using Cantu Shea Butter Leave-in conditioning treatment and sealing with a mix of olive and castor oil. This left my hair super moisturised for a longer period of time. Just recently I started using whipped Shea Butter as a sealant and my hair stays moisturised for an even longer period. Then I got a satin bonnet. This helps to protect my strands form the drying effects of my cotton pillow case. I no longer woke up to I-am-dry-now-so-please-whip-out-your-spray-bottle-ASAP hair. This took care of my daily moisturising and sealing so I had to cut that out of my regimen. I also used to wash my hair every weekend because of my itchy scalp. Now I have ACV to help with that so I now find myself washing my hair less often. Here is my current regimen ( Friday's are my wash/Co-wash days):

Moisturising
Moisturise and seal with a butter every 3/4 days.
Spritz with water and glycerine if I notice a little dryness in between moisturising.

Washing
Co-wash every First Friday.
Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse every second Friday.
Co-wash every third Friday.
Shampoo every Last Friday followed by a protein based deep conditioner.

Deep conditioning
Moisture based deep conditioning every second Friday after ACV rinsing.
Protein Based deep conditioning every fourth Friday after  shampooing.

Hot oil treatments
Every fourth Thursday before shampooing ( it also doubles as a Prepoo).

This is my current regimen and its working for me. You should get your hair on a regimen too, it will love you for it. Remember each person's hair is different so  do what works for you. Happy healthy hair growing :-)

APHOGEE 2 STEP PROTEIN TREATMENT REVIEW

Hi guys,    I don't know if I have mentioned it before but I have been shedding like crazy for months. I don't know how I still have any hair left on my head. My hair is also breaking and doesn't seem to retain moisture as much as it used to. After a really terrible day of detangling( I use a wide tooth comb now) and I knew I had to get help. I have seen quite a few Instagram testimonials on the Aphogee 2 Step Protein Treatment so I decided to try it out. Its a hard protein treatment that promises to stop breakage and shedding. I read a few reviews online first then I got right into it. I decided to get the sachets since its my first time. The white sachet contains the protein treatment while the lilac sachet is the balancing moisturiser.  N1000      The instructions were simple. To begin I laid out my products. From left to right- Aussie moist conditioner , applicator bottle, ORS shampoo, ORS replenishing conditioner(DC) an...
