My first hair trim post BC

Hi there,
I have been dealing with split ends and several single strand knots for a while and rather than hold on to them in a bid to retain length I'd rather let them go. After much thought I have decided to trim my hair myself (how hard can it be?) Its better to trim your hair when its stretched. For a natural lass like myself that means my hair should be straightened either with heat (flat iron or blow dryer) or without heat (threading, banding, twisting ,braiding or manually stretching the hair while its wet)
I don't intend to use heat on my hair so I'm going with manually stretching my wet hair. There were some shots I couldn't capture  so I'll explain the best way I can. Here we go:

I co washed my hair

I put my hair in small sections

I took one section and detangled with a wide tooth comb, then I brushed
the hair and held the part I wanted to trim off. I cut just above my fingers

As you can see the cut hair are not even. Hazards of cutting your hair yourself I guess

The whole lot of trimmed away hair

I put the freshly trimmed hair in 5 sections then moisturised and sealed each one

I got 2 nylon bags

1 cut them into squares

I wrapped each section's ends with the nylon squares. This is called Baggying.

Frontal view

Tools I used

Sharp scissors

Wide tooth comb

Hair bands to hold the bags in place

I wont advice you to try this at home if you want a perfect cut. Overall I'm glad I got rid of my split ends after all health first then length right?

APHOGEE 2 STEP PROTEIN TREATMENT REVIEW

Hi guys,    I don't know if I have mentioned it before but I have been shedding like crazy for months. I don't know how I still have any hair left on my head. My hair is also breaking and doesn't seem to retain moisture as much as it used to. After a really terrible day of detangling( I use a wide tooth comb now) and I knew I had to get help. I have seen quite a few Instagram testimonials on the Aphogee 2 Step Protein Treatment so I decided to try it out. Its a hard protein treatment that promises to stop breakage and shedding. I read a few reviews online first then I got right into it. I decided to get the sachets since its my first time. The white sachet contains the protein treatment while the lilac sachet is the balancing moisturiser.  N1000      The instructions were simple. To begin I laid out my products. From left to right- Aussie moist conditioner , applicator bottle, ORS shampoo, ORS replenishing conditioner(DC) an...
