The best way to comb your natural hair

Hi there,
Combing natural hair has always been a problem. There is a lot of pain involved but that's not the only challenge combing presents.  I sectioned my hair into 2 parts. I started from the front section. I added some Ecostyler gel, brushed it lightly with a toothbrush and pulled it into a bun on the top of my head:

After I was done with the front, I brushed up the back and…

I have bought tons of products since the last time but I haven't had time to do a proper review of each one. Its better later than never not so? I'm starting with the SHEA MOISTURE JBCO STRENGTHEN, GROW & RESTORE LEAVE IN CONDITIONER (now that's a mouthful isn't it?) I bought sometime in July.
