MY MAY MINI HAUL!!

Hello guys,
I love buying stuff! And I know many of you experience the rush I feel when I get home and lay my purchases on the bed for closer inspection. In these days of my healthy hair journey I am constantly looking out for hair products that my hair will love (remember my love affair with VO5?) I made a few purchases last month and here there are:

PERM RODS!!!!
So I finally got perm rods. Thing is I didn't know what the sizes written on the website I ordered them from stood for, so I got them in various sizes. I will get more soon to complete each set (I'm thinking 60 0f each) and when I do,be ready for tutorials! I cant wait to try the perm rod set and the popular twist and curl method that has been trending on Instagram for a while.

COCONUT OIL
This one was unintentional. I asked someone to check Park n Shop AKA Spar for the semi solid coconut oil and when he couldn't find that he bought this one. If you remember, I make my own Coconut oil but its been a while since I made some as I have been super busy these days. Its great for pre-pooing and it smells soooo yummy.

CANTU SHEA BUTTER LEAVE-IN CONDITIONING REPAIR CREAM FOR NATURAL HAIR

I was really excited to get my hands on this one. I love the original Cantu Leave-in and since this
one is specifically for natural hair I am really stoked to see what it will feel like on my strands (expect a review soon!)

So there you have it my MINI haul. And that's all I bought....well not all. I might as well confess that these aren't the only things I bought last month. I also bought 2 more bottles of _ _ _ fill in the blanks yourself :-)  Yassss!! You guessed right,VO5 conditioner!! Now I have just 6 bottles of this precious conditioner..Don't judge me :-D

Hi guys,      I hope you are all doing well. I have missed blogging so much and I feel really good that I can now so it more often since my schedule is getting a bit less crowded. I also hope you like the new blog design.     If you live in Nigeria then you are aware that things are getting out of hand financially. The recession is hitting really hard and it seems no one is immune. Inspite of this I do not want my Fro to suffer so I am working on making a lot of homemade products and utensils to ensure my hair doesn't feel the strain of the harsh economy.    Today I will be showing you how to make an APPLICATOR bottle from any old plastic bottle you have at home. How to create a a sleek faux bun with short natural hair!!!!

Hi people!    So its been a while since my last post and I apologize. I have been all kinds of busy but I have got something really cool for you all today. I haven't really done any hairstyle posts on this blog  because in my bid to retain length I just cornrow and throw on a wig. I have been doing that for months with the random Afro-puff thrown in once in awhile but this week I just wasn't  in the mood for any of my wigs. I decided to finally do something I have been dying to do: a faux bun!! Its super easy just follow the steps below and you'll be rocking your faux bun in a couple of minutes :-)                                                                                                Preparing my hair I stretched my hair with my cornrows first. I took out the braids then moisturised and sealed: My stretched hair  I sectioned my hair into 2 parts. I started from the front section. I added some Ecostyler gel, brushed it lightly with a toothbrush and pulled
